Idle traffic or traffic that moves at a snail’s pace or not at all is annoying and a big let down in real life and is not any different on the internet. Sure you can start an online business with a small outlay of cash and some products or services that you would like to offer to those who might be interested in buying it from you and earning you some cash and some traffic to your site.

Join as many forums, social media sites and industry associations pertinent to your industry. Start writing about what your business does and problems it solve and blog about it. Go to local networking events and if possible start your own networking chapter. Once you have your footprint at the right places, and gained a few friends through networking, you will see a rise in the traffic again!
